A fun application to learn a foreign language through tarot drawing, mixing the mysterious world of cards and language learning the Duolingo way.
Context
Tarotino is an innovative mobile application that combines the learning of foreign languages and the practice of tarot reading. Inspired by applications like Duolingo, this project offers a unique experience: the user chooses a language, draws their cards, and discovers the keywords of their prediction in the target language. Once the draw is done, the words are revealed, and a definition is available, allowing for intuitive and entertaining vocabulary enrichment.
Role
Art Direction and UX/UI Design :
Creation of a mysterious and accessible visual identity, with a mascot (a lunar cat) to guide the user.
Design of the interfaces for the draw screens, horoscope, and progress.
Design of stylized tarot cards, adapted to the universe of the application.

Inspirations and Creative Choices
Graphic Universe : The visual identity of Tarotino plays on dark and mystical tones (black, deep purple), with bright accents to highlight the cards and interactive elements. The mascot, a cat with crescent-moon-shaped eyes, adds a friendly and reassuring touch while remaining in the esoteric theme.
User Experience : The application is designed to be intuitive :
Home Screen : Choice between "Make a Draw" and "Horoscope".
Draw : The user draws cards that animate and reveal words in the chosen language.
Learning : Keywords are highlighted and defined, with the possibility to add them to their lexicon.
Progress : A graph tracks user progression, similar to a traditional learning application.
Result
Tarotino offers an original learning experience, where curiosity for tarot becomes a lever for discovering a new language. The application breaks the traditional codes of educational apps by integrating a mystical and personal dimension, while remaining accessible and effective.
